PETTY KREWE began in the wake of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic while live music was on hiatus. It was formed in New Orleans as a respectful, authentic, rocking, and elegant nod to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Years of ensuing preparation included the acquisition of 20+ Tom Petty & Mike Campbell guitars, composition of 40 unique string ensemble arrangements by composer Bob Barrett, and recruitment of the finest musicians and Petty enthusiasts.
